Set your angle with the turn of a dialWith MICRODIAL’s two built-in dials, you can set your taper angle by degrees or rise over run. Quickly and easily set the taper angle from 0 to 10 degrees with the turn of a dial. MICRODIAL is the only tapering jig with incremental and exact measurement markings to set the angle of your cut. So precise, it locks in angles as fine as 1/8th of a degree. The ColorMatch technology ensures accurate and easy set up using color-coded markings. Using rise over run, you can set your taper based on the amount of material you want to remove. Simply set your taper up to 2 inch in 1/16 inch intervals to remove the exact amount you need. We even provide the simple step-by-step taper formula to deliver unmatched accuracy. |
Memorized Repeatable Taper CutsSave time, money, and energy with two independent MICRODIAL MemoryLock Stops that store angles for repeat taper cuts. MICRODIAL Tapering Jig virtually eliminates the hassle of building multiple one-use jigs. By easily setting the exact angle you want with the dials, you can recall the angle using the MemoryLock system to quickly refer to that setting throughout your project. Two MemoryLocks are handy when you’re working with two angles that need to be referenced in a project. And we provide a project log to record the angles used so you can make the project again anytime without fuss or guesswork. Work faster. |
Craft impeccable tapered legs.Passion is found in the details; it’s what makes your art come to life. With the precision MICRODIAL system, it’s never been easier to cut adjacent tapers on a table saw. When cutting a 4-sided tapered leg, simply double your angle to compensate for the removed material on sides 3 and 4. If you’re set at 2°, simply reset the angle to 4° to finish the leg. Your project will have an elegant and sophisticated look with 2-, 4-, 6- or 8-sided tapered legs. By combining GRR-RIPPERs and the MICRODIAL Tapering Jig, you can cut tapers up to 36 inches long depending on your saw and fence set up. (We suggest an outfeed and/or infeed table for additional stability). |

Cutting-edge tapersMICRODIAL Tapering Jig gives you the safety and control to maneuver the workpiece at an angle along the router fence. Produce a distinctive pattern along the corner and make those legs remarkable. Fluted tapers add a touch of distinction to a chair or a slimmer profile on a table. Whatever you decide to build with the MICRODIAL Tapering Jig – make it memorable. |
No Jointer NeededMuch more than a tapering jig, MICRODIAL also serves as an edge-jointing tool, guiding rough lumber through the table saw for true and straight edges. The size and length of the MICRODIAL makes it an ideal jig to stabilize and align lumber parallel to the blade and table saw fence. A trailing heel is included and easily mounts to the rear of the MICRODIAL to hook onto the tail end of the workpiece and power it through. Use the GRR-RIPPER for additional gripping power and control. The MICRODIAL will give you the edge jointing accuracy you need for rough lumber up to 12 inch wide and 30 inch long. |
Two-Sided TaperingIt’s never been easier to cut opposing tapers at the exact same angle. Because of the MICRODIAL Tapering Jig’s incremental measurement system, you can quickly see the angle you’re cutting and simply double it to make the opposite cut. Doubling your initial cut angle perfectly compensates for the material removed. The adjustment is hassle-free and your two-sided taper is dead-on. |
